We flew out of Johannesburg for Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. My mom being the thorough trip planner that she is, had several activities planned for us. Up first was an elephant-back safari at an elephant orphanage. Of course I was scared that lions and tigers would come get us, but it was a relaxing ride. Our elephant’s name was Jack and our outstanding guide was Richard. My favorite was playing with the one-month old baby named Eleanor.
